West Virginia Trains
Join us as we travel to beautiful West Virginia for two train adventures. Enjoy spruce forest, tumbling rivers and streams, timber, and coal history and two scenic railroads. This is sure to be a great trip, All Aboard!

Day 1 Wed May 28:
We are off to Elkins, west Virginia for our 4-night stay at the Hampton Inn. Dinner is included this evening at a local Restaurant.
DDay 2 Thu May 29:
Breakfast is included each morning at our hotel. After breakfast we will visit the West Virginia Train Museum before getting on the Cass bald Knob train and enjoying the scenic ride to the second highest point in WV. This evening, we will enjoy a dinner and show at the Gandy Dancer Dinner Theatre.
B, L , DDay 3 Fri May 30:
We travel today to Weston, WV. and take a tour of the trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. While there you will take a tour of the largest hand-cut stone masonry building in the US and learn all about the history of this establishment. After lunch, on your own, we will have a surprise stop before returning to Elkins for an included dinner.
B, DDay 4 Sat May 31:
We will enjoy another beautiful train ride on the New Tygart Flyer. This wilderness excursion features mountain grades, a S turn tunnel, a high bridge, and miles of unspoiled mountain views. This evening, we have another dinner and show at the Gandy Dinner Theatre.
B, L , DDay 5 Sun Jun 1:
We say goodbye to West Virginia after a stop at Black Water Falls. You should arrive home in the early evening with new friends and great memories.
