Mackinaw 2026
Travel with us to Mackinac Island during typical peak bloom time of the lilacs. We will spend two nights on the island with a visit to the Grand Hotel for lunch and free time. We will also visit Frankenmuth MI, Thunder Bay, and The Ford Museum.
Included: Transportation, 7 nights lodging (2 on Mackinac Island at the Bicycle Inn), 5 dinners, 7 breakfast, 1 lunch (Grand hotel), luggage handling, tax and gratuity for all included meals, carriage tour of Mackinac Island, visit and lunch at the Grand hotel, carriage tour and elk viewing at Thunder Bay Resort, visit Bronner's Christmas Store, Bavarian Belle River Excursion, pretzel making class, Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, Ford Rouge Factory tour, snacks, water, and great Friendly Tours service.
Day 1 Sat June 6:
Today we travel to our overnight stay in Ohio. Dinner tonight is included at Cracker Barrel.
DDay 2 Sun June 7:
Breakfast is included each morning at our hotel. After breakfast we depart for Mackinac Island. We will cross over the Mackinac Bridge and get our first views of the island before taking our ferry ride across. After our arrival on the island, we will check into the Bicycle Street Inn for a two-night stay. Dinner tonight will be at Winchester's Restaurant.
B, DDay 3 Mon June 8:
Today we enjoy a carriage tour of the island and learn all about its history and see all of its beauty. Our tour will end at the Grand Hotel where we will enjoy the Grand Lunch buffet. After lunch you can stay and explore the Hotel and the rest of the day you are free to do as you like. Dinner tonight is on your own.
B, LDay 4 Tue June 9:
After an included breakfast you will have more time to explore Mackinac Island before we say goodbye in the late morning. After we arrive back on the main land we will make our way to the Thunder Bay Resort. Tonight, we will have a carriage tour and elk viewing with private dinner in the lodge.
B, DDay 5 Wed June 10:
Today we will depart for Frankenmuth, MI. Before checking into the Fairfield Inn, we will visit Bronner's Christmas Store and take a boat ride on the Bavarian Belle River Excursion. Tonight, we will have a pretzel making class and included dinner at the Bavarian Inn.
B, DDay 6 Thu June 11:
Today we travel to the Ford Museum and Greenfield Village for some time to explore the history of Henry Ford. This afternoon we check into the Holiday Inn in Allen Park, MI. Dinner tonight is included at Ford's Garage.
B, DDay 7 Fri June 12:
Before saying bye to Michigan, we will visit the Ford Rouge Factory where all the Ford F-150 trucks are assembled for a tour. After our tour we will make our way to the Drury Inn in the Cleveland, OH area. Dinner tonight is on your own but you will want to check out the kick-back party that the Drury has.
BDay 8 Sat June 13:
After Breakfast we make our way home with fond memories and new friends. We should arrive back home in the early evening time frame.
